Dear Hope Infusion Subscribers,
After a two-year hiatus, I am thrilled to reintroduce the Hope Infusion Newsletter. When I wrote my last post in December 2022, after the death of my father, I had no idea how long that pause would last. Grief has a way of reshaping us, often in ways we don’t anticipate. For me, it marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another — though I couldn’t see it clearly at the time.
The past two years have been filled with turbulence, medical mysteries, unexpected growth, and moments of quiet revelation. They have also been a time of deep observation — noticing the lessons grief brings, the power of resilience, and the beauty of connection in all its forms.
And now, at this pivotal point in history, I find myself returning to the page, pen in hand — heart wide open. Recent events, from personal milestones to the shifting tides of our collective experience, have reignited my passion for storytelling. I’m reminded anew why I commenced this writing venture in the first place: to give voice to the unspoken, to offer encouragement in challenging times, and to remind us all that even in darkness, light endures.
As we turn the page to 2025, I invite you to join me in this new chapter. Here’s what you can expect moving forward:
Soul-stirring essays that reflect the heartbeat of our times.
Raw, honest poetry born from both pain and promise.
Moments of unexpected humor to lighten the load.
Recurring reminders that hope, like love, is a choice we make — and a gift we give.
My goal is to create a space where we can navigate the paradoxes of life together — its grace and grief, endings and beginnings, chaos and clarity.
I’ll be publishing weekly, with occasional extras when inspiration strikes. My first posts of the new year will reflect on the theme of “New Beginnings and Necessary Endings,” weaving together personal anecdotes and the lessons I’ve learned since we last connected.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you were here since the beginning or are joining anew, your presence is a reminder of why I write: to connect, to inspire, and to remind us all that we are never truly alone.
With gratitude and anticipation,
Olivia Waller Bethea
Looking forward to the journey. Grateful!!
